Bleeding on the cross
The adage is: "Dead men don't bleed".
According to the New Testament, a spear was pushed into Christ's side and
"blood and water" emerged.
I don't believe in the story of the resurrection, anyway, but I was
wondering whether bleeding would still take place post mortem if the
position of the body could bring about an increase in pressure.
