The last 2 years I been feeling colder then usual. I am mostly ok during
the day, but at night I have to wear pajamas and even sock sometimes. I
use to always be too hot when I sleep. Why would that happened all of a
sudden? I don't have a thyroid problem, my doctor has checked. I am
35
years old and tired all the time, but my doctor does not seam to know why.
He has also checked my iron, which is fine. I am normal weight for my
height. Any ideas what it could be? My doctor is not very helpful
(everything is fine go away attitude). thanks.

If you want a second opinion then you might have to see a second doctor.
However, I don't think that everything that happens to us has a medical
explanation or is indicative of some pathological disease process. Perhaps
this applies in your case. In your situation I would just be grateful that
my doctor hadn't found anything sinister that would result in an earlier
encounter with an undertaker than I had anticipated. There are plenty of
folks in their coffin who would gladly swap places. Sorry I can't be of more
help.

Excellent post. My suggestion for Ibbss is to copy and paste your post and
place it in this newsgroup:

alt.support.thyroid

There are members of that newsgroup that know more about thyroid problems
than many GP doctors since they have thyroid and/or adrenal problems.
After posting the numbers from your last thyroid function blood test, they
will let you know whether or not your thyroid gland is the reason for your
problems. I do know that "cold intolerance" is one of the symptoms of
hypothyroidism.
