Is there a blood test for diagnosing thrush on the tongue?

Hi
As in the subject, is there a blood test for diagnosing thrush on the
tongue?
I've been in hospital for a few weeks where I developed a "coated
tongue" but anti-fungal treatments didn't fix it so it seems uncertain
whether it's actually thrush.
