Re: Cellulitus: All Pain and no progress

Marcus,

Thanks for the response. I spoke with him this morning regarding a
rash and some swelling in the cheek which appear to be an allergy to
the Cephalexin. He has told me to stop the antibiotic but refuses to
prescribe alternatives claiming 9-10 days of antibiotic treatment is
all that is needed. He says any other antibiotic might trigger a
similar allergy and set an appt for Oct 7 to check on the improvement.

It doesn't make sense to me to stop all antibiotics when it doesn't
look like it is any better, but he seems to think the healing is
happening, even if I can't see it. I don't know if this is the best
advice.

You need to contact your physician immediately and inform him of the

a Google search for "cellulitis", your medications, and any associated
