unaffected by the tsunamis which have devastated parts of Asia, The
Washington Post has reported."

It seems that the effects may have been dissapated by coral reefs in the
island system there, as well as the fact that DG would have been
warnable by the US monitoring systems - one of the major problems with
many countries is that the channels weren't in place to warn them.
