Backed up by what research?

Or maybe people who excel at RPG's are simply nerds with "impaired
interpersonal skills" to begin with?

What about 'Techies, who generally favours "Shooters" like "Doom" or
"Half-Life"? Can we draw some summary and sweeping conclusions from that
(apart form that they probably fantasize about bringing Biblical retribution
to Users and Project Managers once they get that M-249 running some belts).

To me, this sounds like the ever-rising accusation against every new media
that it "Corrupts the Young" - I bet the Greek, the Vikings and especially
the Romans were whining about that too!
