Well there's almost all of Ft Bragg encompassing 18th ABN Corp HQ including
some independent Arty, Commo and Engineer brigades. There's COSCOM [combat
support, Medical, etc], not to mention a slew of other independent none-SOF
forces like 4th PSYOP [part of USASOC but not really SF].
The jump school on Benning is open all-year and while you're jump qualified
when you leave you may not go to an airborne unit. It's common for officers
to go to get their wings and not go to an airborne unit.
So basically there's a slew of regular army units [and a surprising number
of NG/Reserve units] that are ABN as well as many soldiers who've been to
the school but don't serve in ABN units.
