What about a straight buckytube, whose chiral vector was correlated to
the mean free path of the electron, so as to guide electron flow as if
it were a coil? Could this result in the smallest possible magnetic
coil? And what if you had a bulk material composed of many such
nanotubes? Could it have a critical temperature far higher than
conventional magnets?
