Much depends on the composite. But probably not. Remember,
we already have a comparable material, diamond, that goes into knives
(e.g. in preparing specimens for electron microscopy ). As I
understand it, the main thing that a really strong material gives
you is the ability to hold a very fine edge. My wild guess it that
this sword would be like a Borker Ceramic knife-- really really sharp.
Though not near as brittle.
Still, Some Japanese samurai swords could allegedly cut thru a
gun barrel and titanium is allegedly about as strong as good mild
steel. So ya never know.
