Any process that depends on exponential growth must sooner or later
hit the wall, and for some reason the exponential growth itself fools
observers into thinking that it must go on forever. Most exponential
processes break on the high end, when some force or scale gets
outrageous. What's a bit unusual is that for IC's the exponent is
negative, and the limit on scaling is the fixed size of atoms.

The semiconductor industry will have some serious adjusting to do.
