Purifying Raw Nanotube Mixture By Infrared Irradiation
Hello,
Somewhere on the internet I read a paper which briefly mentioned
purifying as-produced nanotube soot (from the arc method) either by
"heating in air or oxygen at 500 degrees C" or also by way of "infrared
irradiation". The paper didn't give any references for the IR
purification process.
I'm wondering, is anyone able to explain briefly what this IR
purification process involves, or can anyone cite a reference? Thank
you.
Regards,
Joe
