what is the diffrence between fermi band & conduction band?
is elecrton in fermi band?( we know that fermi band is between
conduction band & valence band. it means in band gap. so how can
elecrtron be in band gap?)

Re: fermi level in doped semiconductors ... in n type semi conductor the fermi level is close to conduction band....valance band is now lower, which effectively brings the Fermi level ... (sci.physics.research)
