If you can have bots make bots, you necessarily have the ability to have
factories make factories. The factory setting can be subject to the closest
scrunity in safeguarding and detecting unacceptable risks. This level of
scrunity will not be possible for on-site bot projects. Do you understand that
self-replicating bots are actually mini-factories and that these mini-factories
could be used to create very dangerous products?

Now if I need say 100,000,000,000 bots to do some massive job, like
clean the American Great Lakes or remove air born bacteria, it is going
to be best to use self replicating. Since I can easily get expodential
