getting in touch with qdot folks at Invitrogen


I have some specific "physical chemistry" type questions on
Invitrogen's qdots. Are old time QDC (quantum dot corporation) folks
like Marcel Bruchez and Joe Treadway with Invitrogen now, and if so,
does anyone know how i could get hold of them (or the current quantum
dots group, at Invitrogen)? I am using Invitogen's antibody
conjugation kit; I don't need to conjugate the qdots to antibody, just
need to put maleimides on the qdots. However, I am having problems and
the tech. support folks at Invitogen dont' seem to know how to deal
with folks like me who are not following their entire protocol ... (I
am only doing step one and two of seven steps ...).
