What happened? Are people posting elsewhere, or have they lost
interest in nanotechnology altogether?
If there are other fora that are more populated, I'd be interested in
hearing about where they are.
Gina Miller's Yahoo group gets about 20 to 30 posts a month:
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/nanotech/
But you can see that it too has had better days. When that group was seeing
a lot of traffic, so was this one. These are the comparable stats for this
group:

There are a few nanotech-specific blogs, but since they are generally set
up only to allow people to post comments to articles initiated by the blog
owner, they aren't terribly useful to anyone else wishing to initiate a new
line of discussion. Blogs I know of along these lines:
http://www.foresight.org/nanodot/
http://crnano.typepad.com/crnblog/
http://nanobot.blogspot.com/
Here's a link where a bunch more nanotech-related blogs are linked:
http://www.nanotechnews.com/blogs.php
If research and development on molecular nanotechnology is accelerating, it
obviously has no correlation to quantity or quality of posts to any of the
online forums I know about.
