=A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 Can any one explain me that, how people deduce the stru=
www.ndt-ed.org/EducationResources/CommunityCollege/Materials/S...magic numbers for FCC Nanoparticle and HCP Nanoparticle. If possible
please tell me how can we arrive at some mathematical expressions
which will deliver the total number of atoms in X sided Polyhedron (X
refers any numbers, layers)and also the total number of surface atoms.
I don't know the answer, but since no one else has tried to answer, I'll
offer these two web sites (which may not tell you what you already know
about FCC (Face Centered Cubic) and HCP (Hexagonal Centered Cubic)
structures):

Were I asked to determine structure of such particles, I'd try to use x-r=
crystallography on some samples. Many textbooks on the subject.
Thank u I will try those web sites
.
