    It seems important to know that
    chaos and fractals
    just didn't spring out of the dust in the 1980's!
    Much of the classic chaos and fractals information is incomplete,
    ( even today!)
    because it wasn't "gathered"
    or well known at that time.
    Some stuff is still buried as it wasn't a "recognized" branch of
    mathematics or science before Mandelbrot, Ruelle and Lorenz.
    You run into stuff like this and you recognize that it is
    the same stuff... just not "labeled" that way for consumption, ha, ha....
