The worst part is that they don't even tell you
this up front. It's in the terms of use agreement
that nobody reads. They are going to bill your
ISP without even telling you, and then your ISP
will pass the bill along to you.
The worst part is that this particularly slimeball
behavior is also perfectly legal. The good news
is that you can get around this by configuring a
SLIP connection to use a different IP address
every ten minutes or so, and that way google
won't know you've exceeded the 10 search
limit per day. But most users are not savvy
enough about the Usenet to use this technique.
