cartoon function in 1985 paper is wrong

  Here is a "better" , but not exactly right Chua type system
It appears that the equation for the cartoon function

 I copied down straight out of the original 1985 IEEE paper were wrong.
I used a shape like that in the pictures in the lecture notes.
I'm pretty sure he didn't intensionally give the wrong data.
