are actually quite open for new ideas. Look at papers from
10 years ago. It is surprising how much useless nonsense
was tolerated, supported and funded. Tolerating dead ends
is part of scientific culture.

They are only the mass media, superficial, stylish, cheap.
You cant blame them.

You are part of it. It made you. It feeds you.
