Dear Rene,
there is a misunderstanding. Sure, the function of an interference filter depends mainly on the refraction indices of the materials, however that wasn't my question.
Nuclear radiation (protons, alpha particles, ions etc) damage the optical material. For example, most ordinary optical glasses turn at higher doses pink or brown or even black. I need filters made of materials that can withstand high doses of radiation, as sintered quarz glass does for example.
