I have acquired this WWII spotting scope (Admiralty Pattern 9137A Type
CN14). It's 70lb of brass and optics which I would like to restore, but I'm
having trouble sourcing drawings for it. Barr & Stroud are certainly in
business but I can't get any contact info on them. Company records have been
archived by NAHSTE and I'm trying to access them through University of
Edinburgh.
My search has lead me to an online rebuild manual for a US WWII submarine
periscope which was fascinating but of limited value.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Bruce
