It is a piece of glass with the combination written on it. That is all that
he's got.
I was hoping that somebody has worked with something like that or has some
obscure catalog that has that glass listed. There have been a lot of
manufacturers of glass and, especially in the earlier days, each maker had
his own nomenclature for typing their glasses. The NdVd convention did make
the organization of glasses a lot easier when it came about.
BTW, I'm always on the lookout for old glass catalogs from extinct glass
makers. I'd like to put any that may be around on my website at
