Cementing Glass

Hello,

I need an economical way to cement a couple of flat clear glass surfaces
together for indoor use.

The application is low tech but I don't want to trash the image passing
through the glass surfaces. So something close to optical grade cement
is what I need.

I don't have access to UV curing equipment. Sun curing or a cheap UV
source that works overnight would be acceptable.

Good old fashioned Canadian Balsam might due if I can find a source.

Any suggestions?
