Gee wiz guys,
Here it is again. For those who don't know.
Worked for Hughes Aircraft 1977-1987. First aerospace job.
After that at Aerojet for 8.5 mo. I used old HEXAGON/ACCOS-V manual as
a guide, wrote new source. Called it KDP, Roadrunner, then ODP.
The original HEXAGON manual was a copy of the ACCOS-V manual,
including all the typos. :-) Never figured that one out.
At TRW/Northrop Grumman (1987-2005), used a version of my code there
(CODAP then TEXAGON then PRG) and had a separate version which I sold
(KDP, then Roadrunner then ODP). PRG had the stuff I wrote on TRW/NG
time. OPD had stuff I wrote on my time. Had disclosure statements
filed with TRW/NG since 1997 without their objection till 2005.
June, 2, 2005. Day before last day at NG. Their legal department asked
me to STOP selling my commercial version. They said my version and
their's were too similar.
Not wishing to loose my pension and retirement benefits and get sued,
I said "Sure, I'll Stop". I have done so, religiously!!!!! and will
continue to do so for the rest of my life.
I may be arrogant and an ass hole and I may not like Ken Moore or
ZEMAX but I am not stupid enough to kiss off an 18 year pension.
Hughes/Raytheon never was in the equation cause they have a different
code, HEXAGON. It is way better than anything I wrote or ever could
write. Compared to their code, my code is terrible and slow and *&%^.
If someone has a copy of my code's source which they bought before I
was asked to stop selling it, well, I don't have the $, the resources
or the energy (I'm 59) to stop them from doing anything they want with
it and I doubt anyone else would be the wiser if they changed the
program name and sold it to Space Aliens or gave it to the fucking
towel heads in IRAQ or IRAN.
Is there anything here that is not completely 110% fucking clear?
Do I need to post a certified and notatized fucking copy of a legal
document to make it any clearer?
I hope to God not.
The WEST COAST ENGINEERING web site has been closed down. Try to email

It is dead, dead, dead.
Try to link to www.westcaostengineering.com
It is dead, dead, dead.
As the line in ALIENS read:
They are all dead, alright can I go now?
I originally placed this thread so that everyone knows what is what
and not get confused, particularly the fine folks who bought and used
my code over the years. To them, I'm sorry. *** happens. I hope my
work helped someone.
I now spend my free time drawing, sculpting and painting and
photography and non-optical things like restoring my 100 year old
house in UTAH.
Be merciful and drop this tread NOW. I'm sorry I started the tread. I
wish I have never written the damn program in the first place. It has
been a burden beyond anything I could have ever expected it to become.
