Are all paints on the market close enough, or do some match better than others? And are any paints favoured over others by reason of outgassing, corrosive attacks on the acrylic, or ease of application. We are looking at grazing incidence here.

These are very small components so application with a fine paintbrush will be ideal.

Ordinary ultra-flat black Krylon index-matches beautifully to fused quartz in the visible, and acrylic is very close to the same index. I'd have a whack at it.
