Re: 2" Non-rotating focus tube?

How about rack-and-pinion microscope focus mechanism alongside the
lenses that you want to adjust. I know that they are fairly linear and
smooth acting, while being non-rotating. Another idea is to look for a
linear bearing in the McMaster-Carr catalog.
