Re: questions about light

Hi,

Thanks for your answer.
I have some more questions related to your suggestions:

In my case the light is travelling through some optic fibers. How can I
detect if there are fluctuations in the intensity of a
light ray? These fluctuations can appear at very small intervals of
time (nano seconds or even smaller (pico)). I need a device which can
notify me about these occurences. Can I use an oscilloscope? Or this
device is used only for electric power? Or, which devices are used for
measuring the changes in the intensity of a light ray?

Thanks,
Laura
