Mid IR Prism query

Optics Folks

I'm looking for a material with a fairly brutal dispersion in the mid (3 -
5um) IR region and Rutile (a form of TiO2) seems to be a possibility.

Does anyone in the group have any experience specifying / buying / applying
optical components using this material?

Alternatively, are there any other materials that might be more readily
available (I can only find one company, OFR) who appear to have a limited
range of rutile prisms from stock).
