Magnification

Hopefully this is an appropriate Group for this Question.

How is it Possible to get a magnification of about 10 or 15 times, but
with a focal distance of about one foot.

Ideally I would like to use fairly large lenses (2 to 4 inches in
diameter)

I do some fairly detailed electronics and although a Jewellers Loop
works, getting that close to the work is a problem. Besides, it would
be nice to see with both eyes.

Also any suggestions on where to get the lenses that I will need for
this.

I have looked at the Surgical Glasses that are used in Micro Surgery,
but at $2000.00 thats a bit too much.
