Help with adjustment of a New Focus Electro-optic Modulator

Hi everybody!
I bought a resonant electro optic modulator (Model EOM 4851, New Focus)
and have tried to adjust the laser beam and modulator to observe the
sidebands at 9.2 GHz, but unfortunately have not been able to see any
phase modulation with my Burleigh Fabry-Perot.
I have tried during several days and have taken into account all the
indications regarding rayleigh range, beam diameter, polarization etc..
Do you have any experience adjusting EOMs? Could you give me a
suggestion?
