Different colours at sunrise

Well, the title is a little un-scientific, but I am unsure as to how to
phrase this question!

Has anyone quantified how much the colours of objects change during
sunrise? For instance, would a red/orange object backlit by a rising
sun look yellow? Or is the angle between the sun, the object and the
observer's eye important (e.g if the object wasn't backlit, but if the
sun was off to one side of the object)?

Thanks

Paul
