Re: Camera Obscura Question

I do realize that. Based on the information that I have gathered thus
far, I suspect that I will need at least three lenses, an objective,
some sort of collector and a projector.

If you have any ideas on how to correctly configure such a thing I
would greatly appreciate your input.

Would you mind repeating the technical specifics?
Diameter 8.8 inches, center thickness 2.3 inches. It is in a metal cell
(could be easily removed) about 4 inches long, with a removable hood for
viewing (sort of a giant eyecup). Plano-convex, focal length about 12
inches. The data place on the cell says, "Radiomarine (R) Type MI-555361
Magnifier, Ser 63088, Radio Corporation of America, New York NY USA."

You do know that this 12" fl lens will require additional optics to form
an image at a reasonable projection distance? Original optics for camera
obscura were very long focal length, perhaps 10 to 30 foot rather than
one foot.
