Hi group,
Thanks all for the tips. I was a little bit concerned with cigarettess
too, so I used LN2 instead. I tried pouring it over the optical table,
but that didn't work really well. In the end, I used a stirofoam cup
and let some cool foggy air drop from above into the beams. Exposure
time was about 10 seconds.
The end result was pretty much how I wanted it, have a look here:

I should probably ask Newport and Thorlabs to sponsor my thesis...
