graphic (nice work Dr. Murty, Tom Godfrey, and Susan Raffensperger).
Construction of the refracted ray from the incident ray and the normal
to the refracting surface.
The same diagram appears and is explained in every optics text book.
That's called the "Huygens construction" which is what I said.
