visible when projecting an image through it.

Is it visible on the screen as a bright spot on a black background
image(functional)?

Or is is visible to your eye when you look back into the
system(cosmetic)?

I would be supprised if it was functional as a condenser is in the
illumination system and shouldnt be imaged onto the screen.

If is cosmetic, same response.

If you really want to cover it up and this location dosent have high
irradiance or heat flux - try some of your wifes clear fingernail
polish, if it dosent work, just clean it off with acetone. If it does
work - we wont tell anyone that you dinged a lens, we will require you
to change your pen name to "chip".
