I got some non-credible values for n (index of refraction) on my three
lenses.
Post just the two numbers for each surface, depth and diameter. Your
scanned scribbles are too much to decipher for me to check your work.
What equation are you using for radius of curvature? You can't use the
3-leg formula on the measurements you're taking.
2) The declared focal lengths and diameters came from the place I
bought them. The measured diameters showed some of the specs were
accurate and some were 'nominal'. I am beginning to wonder if the f.l.
specs are reliable. I can ask him (Fred at Surplus Shed) whether they
came with specs or are his measurements.
As much as I like that supplier, I have gotten some grossly mislabeled
specimens in the past. You should measure focal lengths independently to
confirm.
