On the schematic of the PFN, TRG, and SSY the description for the
trigger states "For TRG1, a logic level signal (low) turns on a Q1
which drives the Q2 to dump C2 (charged to around 240 V) through the
trigger transformer, T1."
Does this imply that I could connect a 9v battery to the GND and Logic
trigger pins to supply the signal? Then short the Logic trigger and
GNS pins to take it to zero? Or just disconnect the 9v source?
Does anyone have any idea what the logic level signal referred to is?
Is it the typical +5v? Was this likely to have been supplied via a
separate source or pulled from the cap charger?
