Hi there

We'ld like to cement an epoxy coated Si detector, flat, to Polycarboinate
immersion lens.

What adhesive is recommended ?

IMHO you should try a thin layer of clear silicone adhesive, NOT a one-
part type that gives off acetic acid as it cures, but a two-part type
with a separate catalyst. Make sure the bond layer is thin, though, as
it looks cloudy in bulk. Its flexibility will resolve the issue of the
differential thermal expansion of sillicon and polycarbonate.
