Sorry, Phil, I should have explained that is it is for a projecting
out a high power 12-element laser diode array for a measurement
application, and so we don't need the image quality you'd expect in an
imaging application. It's telecentric because of the emitting profile
of the laser diodes. Most of the telecentric lenses in the catalogues
are for much larger formats. Maybe I should turn the question round
and ask: If I were to design such a lens (I have a draft design which
works, with only 5 elements) and get it built might there be a wider
market for it? If so it might help to defray my customer's R&D costs.
