Sorry Bob, this is Usenet. You do not get to dictate the standards of communications. Different people's newsgroup servers do not always sequence messages the same and there are time lags in communications. It is considered common etiquette to give an indication of what you are talking about. In this case it is especially important since you responded to my post with a complete non-sequitor. Perhaps your intention was to respond to some earlier point, but without even a short snippet it is hard to tell.
