I am not a physics major, but I wonder about electron mass being a
constant.
If we allow for non-discrete masses of electrons and protons and
neutrons, would this allow for circular orbitals?
I have often pondered whether the solution to strange orbital shapes
may lie in variable electron masses. If electrons' masses are truly
variable, as are the masses of the planets, could we simplify their
orbitals to ellipses as in the Bohr model?
I would that someone would work out the math!
Anyone interested in this area please email me at kashif777@yahoo.com
or 2kq@qlink.queensu.ca.
Lord bless.
