If you can swallow Quantum Physics, then no it's not all charged spheres.
Everything down to the particles looks spherical, but once you get the
particles themselves, things begin to look hazy. So for now, until we find
more accurate detection methods, it's better and more accurate to say that
at the bottom, it's all charged clouds. Clouds of what? No human knows.
