The Weak Interaction in STQCH

The Weak Interaction in STQCH-IV

The weak interaction has been formulated, with six angles -- out of
the eight minus two (hypercharge angles)-- introduced previously in
Stqch1.

While hadrons are regarded as representations of SU(3), leptons are
not. By introducing a ninth (virtual, ghost) angle, three SU(2)
subgroups are constructed,-- each by three angles -- which are
identified as the three lepton families, namely the electron, the
tau, and the muon, and thereby the lepton wave functions are
formulated. The differential operator of isospin and lepton number
for each family are defined in term of the phase angles, and the
theoretical eigenvalues of charge, and lepton numbers are thus
obtained With the lepton flavor identified as the core angles ai(i
=1,2,3), the lepton number conservation law is thus established in
terms of the six plus one virtual (or ghost) angles. All the results
are in excellent agreement with experiment. Interactions or
oscillations within and among each lepton family and with hadrons are
also briefly discussed.
