Yes, the pattern you copied from a book on complex numbers.
Bravo, well done!

But in order to try to find your way of your corner, you are
*cheating* - like always.

Indeed, it is like you say in sloppy language:
the "square roots" of the real number 5 are
     a = (exp(ln(5)/2), i0)
     b = a.[cos(2pi/2),i.sin(2pi/2)]
I explained about that in a few subthreads and posts to which
you *very* carefully avoided replying.

But now LOOK VERY CAREFULLY at what happens:
     a = (exp(ln(5)/2), i0) = sqrt(5) <=== by definition
     b = -a <=== see this? MINUS a
so
     a = sqrt(5) = 2.23607
     b = - sqrt(5) = - 2.23607

And *you* have been claiming that
     sqrt(5) = +2.23607
or
      sqrt(5) = -2.23607
and *that* is what this is all about.

And of course, you perfectly know that by know, but you are way
too *stupid* to admit that you were wrong and that you have been
behaving like a donkey

And there is plenty of room at the bottom, so, by all means,
*do* keep digging, dear "electronic engineer".
