Ok, George. If you know something about Buddhism, please can you show
me the passage in some Buddhist text? You say you are a scientist.
Then please do some research. Go read Dhammapada, or The Heart of
Perfect Wisdom. Show me where there is a reference to God. Actually I
have full confidence that you can find something from there to that
effect, but remember it is not "an invisible man, who controls all
things and should be worshipped by all devout buddhists". Be careful!
And sure you have time. Skip a few usenet posts. I am sure no-one will
mind. You can send that next "SPOG rules" next month. If you have read
those once, read them again. Please, do me a tiny favor.

I don't say that making a demographic survey on your readers is a
proof, but it does show wether you reach the people you are preaching
for. If you go to China and speak gibberish that you think is chinese,
but no-one seems to understand, it is safe to say that what you are
saying is not chinese. It does not prove however that what you say is
not some other valid language. Go learn chinese. Go read the Dhammada!

Well technically MSc in something is not yet scientific credentials.
Not even Phd is. Phd would tell that the person holding that degree is
capable of scientific work but does not yet signify that the person
has done so. Perhaps having some ackowledged work, and publications
done is a whiff in that way. But George, no-one can really say himself
having credentials. That honor is attributed by others. Scientific
credentials are not something that wins a debate. It is something the
editor writes in the back of the book you write. I promise, I say that
you have credentials if you read the Heart of Perfect Wisdom.
