There are a hundred scientific cranks... some of them
with degrees in physics spending their entire life
"rigorously, literally and precisely" trying to prove
that "Einstein's theory is wrong"... you can listen to
them on sci.physics.relativity. This doesn't mean
they should be taken seriously.
They same with academic pedants who "know there's
no such thing as a scientific proof of God"... just
because they are "rigorously, literally and precisely"
about a morass of irrelevant trivia DOES NOT MEAN they
have the intelligence, experiencde or qualifications
to comprehend a scientific proof of God.

No, the reviewers comments, as with many scientific
journals are not disclosed to the author unless
the paper is rejected (and even then sometimes they
are not disclosed). And, review, as usual,
is anonymous. However, the 27 members of the
editorial review board are listed in the journal.
At least 8 of them are PhD physicists injcluding
the editor.
