My children and family
were always number one
on my agenda.
I was always ready to change jobs,
change careers, move to different locations,
come home early from work, etc.
if it was in the best interests of my children and family.
And when it came to little issues,
like who got the last slice of pizza,
I also put my children first.
Giving them what they needed, yes.
Spoiling them, no.
For example, they didn't like it when
I threw away most of their Halloween candy.
I must point out,
that I am not in a class by myself in this respect.
Almost all parents feel the same as I do.
