Here's another word that won't resolve (George, you really don't
understand how this all works and fits together, do you?)
??????
If it *were* seen, it means "fool"
Or something else that usenet won't see: ?????, ??????.
Meaning - "You're being made a fool"
"Back in the day", there used to be a language requirement to get a
Ph.D. If you were from the US, you had to "master",..OK, be reasonably
proficient in, a non-english language. Lord knows that requirement is
long past (for most Ph.D programs),...but George, in the late 1960's, as
a Ph.D candidate,...which foreign language did you master in preparation?
Lord knows my german and russian are (very) rusty, but even at the
relatively late date of my degree (mid 1980s) - some
internationalization was expected (I have a "home" language that
actually got me past the requirement).
Given your long rants about how you were deprived socially, at an early
age (and then went insane, stc.) - I suspect you'd remember having to
learn another language - unless you grew up with one (and given the
stories you've told, unless it's german, I doubt it). Which one did you
study?
