I have made fun of because it's very careless to analyse a virus with a
debugger alone. Small uncomplicated viruses might be analysed using a
debugger,
but they fail if you got sophisticated and/or polymorphic viruses.
Also there is a probability the virus takes over while being analysed with a
debugger. And even the disassembling has to be done in multiple steps,
with recompilations to see if the source file compiles back into the
original virus. All in all this is a complicated process and sometimes very
timeconsuming.
I wouldn't trust Androcles analytical abilities on this one, not after i
have seen what he made out of the 'electrodynamics of moving bodies'.
Do you remember the seven deadly sins of relativity(chuckle)?
